Immanuel Lutheran School was founded in 1980. The congregation, feeling a need for a Lutheran School in the area, established ILS as an intergral ministry of the Church. The school opened its doors for the first time in September 1980 with 72 students. Since that time we have been blessed with classroom expansions and the addition of a preschool program in 2008. Today we bring over 30 years of success, providing a quality Christian education for students from preschool to 8th grade.
Highlights include:
As a ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church, we strive for academic excellence through a strong partnership among home, school and church. The Christian education weshare embraces all aspects of a child's development from preschool through eighth grade.
Our Mission: Sharing the Love, Joy and Peace of Jesus Christ with students and their families while building Christian leaders through Biblical instruction and pursuit of academic excellence.
The theme for 2021 National Lutheran School's week is "Sent to Serve," based on the verse “The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28 ESV). Immanuel Lutheran School will honor this celebration all school year and cotinue the theme throughout.
We are most grateful for the opportunity to share Jesus' amazing love with children and their families. National Lutheran Schools Week gives us an opportunity to proclaim these great blessings within the communities we serve.
