We look forward to helping parents through the admissions process, whether your student is a new Kindergartner or transferring from another school into a higher grade.
New students, other than kindergartners, must demonstrate by previously administered standardized test(s) or by personal examination by instructional staff that he/she is at approximate grade level or higher based on percentile, with particular emphasis being placed on the areas of reading, English and mathematics. Additional information such as report cards, standardized tests, and diagnostic evaluations ( i.e. psychological, psychiatric, aptitude, speech, etc.) may be requested.
Once accepted to ILS, each family must attend the new family orientation prior to your child(ren) attending classes.
Please note students entering Kindergarten must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1st of the enrollment year. A student entering first grade must be (6) years of age on or before September 1st of the enrollment year.
In accordance with state laws all enrolling students must provide a birth certificate and current immunization form. Children entering kindergarten will also have to submit a physical dated within the previous 12 months.
